Detailed Charity InformationMotor Neurone Disease Association of WA (MNDAWA)MNDAWA provides a care advisory service and equipment pool for people living with MND. Critical to our service is timely advice, emotional support, referrals and living aids to maintain quality of life as long as possible for sufferers and their carers coping with the devastating diagnosis of MND.
The Grey Man (TGM)The Grey Man is an International organisation dedicated to fighting child-trafficking and the exploitation of children, currently focussing on Thailand/Cambodia/Laos. Underlying causes of trafficking are also addressed via education and infrastructure projects. UNICEF estimates around 1.2 million people are sold into slavery annually. Trafficking is the second largest illegal money earner after drugs and weapons and growing worldwide. Clown Doctors (The Humour Foundation)
The Humour Foundation’s core project is the Clown Doctor program and we
provide this service free of charge to 20 hospitals throughout Australia.
Clown Doctors work in partnership with health professionals. They divert
children during painful procedures, help calm distressed children in
emergency and encourage children in physiotherapy, or just brighten their
day.
The Heart FoundationJump Rope for Heart is Australia's leading physical activity and fundraising program. Not only does the program allow children to reap the benefits of being physically active, but also educates about the importance of heart health while raising vital funds to support the Heart Foundation's life-saving work. |
